Mouth breathing
Bedwetting
Teeth grinding
Snoring
Restless sleep
Frequent waking
Chronic congestion
Trouble focusing
Parents often notice these things one at a time.
Sometimes, however, sleep, breathing, oral function and jaw development may be more connected than they first appear.
This event is designed to help parents better understand those patterns.
How sleep, breathing, oral function and jaw growth can interact during childhood.
Why mouth breathing, grinding, bedwetting and poor-quality sleep may sometimes be worth looking at more closely.
Why development can matter when evaluating children earlier, rather than waiting until patterns become more established.
Why parent participation is an important part of any long-term growth or development plan.

Dr. Bivin Phillips earned his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry and completed an advanced general dentistry residency at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. This is designed to be a comfortable, educational conversation — not a sales presentation.
